Overview
The Smart Finishing Workcell augments high-mix, low-volume production environments by automating grinding, sanding, and polishing processes across a wide range of materials.
I led full mechanical engineering development for the Beta unit, working closely with the client and industrial designer to translate product requirements into a complete mechanical architecture. My scope covered frame and enclosure design, electromechanical subsystem integration, and parametric CAD modeling throughout.
The final design passed Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and shipped with the first customer deployment.
