Edge AI Server

Overview

The Edge AI Server is a compact, portable compute system that enables fast and secure on-site software applications. Its internal hardware includes AI chips, storage, network switches, power delivery, and thermal management. Each modular "node" is stackable via a latching mechanism that physically connects units together and routes power and data, seamlessly scaling performance without additional wiring.

I led the mechanical engineering development, helping bring the product from early concept to fully integrated prototypes. I worked closely with the client, industrial design, and electrical engineering teams to define and realize product requirements. I built, tested, and validated subsystem prototypes, designed the mechanical architecture, created the fully parametric CAD model, and managed custom part fabrication with overseas manufacturers.
